Director of LectureshipI am passionate about getting involved in my community whatever it may be; therefore, when I heard a position in my house was open I was eager to apply. Director of Lectureship directly aligned with a personal goal of mine: bridging the gap between the Greek system and the rest of UW community. Director of Lectureship gives me the opportunity to showcase Delta Gamma and, through this event, something important to my organization. The following button is a link to my application:
Update: I got the position!
Black and Silver DinnerEvery quarter we have a dinner honoring members of my sorority who did exceptionally well academically the previous quarter. This quarter I was honored for my success during Winter 2019. I am loving UW and am proud that I've continued the academic success I had during my high school career in college.
Panhellenic Leadership CouncilOne of the actions my Junior Panhellenic Executive Board and I took was renaming. Junior Panhellenic makes our group sound "lesser" than Panhellenic when our difference is really what we focus on. Our new name is Panhellenic Leadership Council. Going into this quarter we had a very full schedule with community service, sisterhoods, and programming. Having speakers from organizations like ASUW and UWPD helps us connect more with the greater UW community. I've really enjoyed this experience because I've met girls from other houses and grown as a leader. I look forward to taking even more responsibility in this role Autumn quarter.

Study Abroad Orientation #1I had my first orientation for my study abroad this summer on April 25th. I met some of the people I'll be traveling with and am getting more excited every time I think about this trip. We have two free weekends during our program and I already planned an adventure via ship to Finland with another girl. I am hoping to go to Copenhagen for the other weekend using the train.
ESRM 101: Forests and SocietyThe screenshot and link above are from my final group project for ESRM 101. I was nervous about taking a Natural World credit because I don't consider myself a "science" person, but I loved this class. I liked looking at the environment and the way we interact with it, specifically through forests. I had no idea how many services forests provide from over 60% of our drinking water to the only source of rubber for airplane tires. My professor was engaging and I looked forward to every lecture. I hope I am able to take more ESRM classes in the future.

Anchor SplashAnchor Splash is my sorority's big event for our philanthropy, Service for Sight. Our chapter's dedication to our philanthropy is a large reason I wanted to join Delta Gamma. As a house, we volunteer over 2,000 hours every year at local organizations. This year we raised over 86 thousand dollars!
HONORS 222: Modern Problems in BiologyTaking this class with Professor Draper will be one of my highlights of my undergraduate education. Professor Draper is incredibly intelligent, caring, and engaging. We covered a vast variety of content in this short quarter from vampires to vaccines to IVF. HONORS 222 B has taught me to think critically and always question what we are told to simply believe. Below is my group's final presentation. Our topic was brain death.
